VFHMASK respirators are not classified as surgical. However, they are certified FFP2 and KN95, which means they offer sufficient protection for daily use.
Can I trust VFHMASK?
As respirators, VFHMASK go through more rigorous testing conditions than 3-ply surgical masks. But in multiple global lab tests, VFHMASK respirators have consistently achieved international standards of filtering out particles (PFE) of more than 95% and bacteria (BFE) of more than 99.9%. We are officially certified KN95 and FFP2.
What is the difference between VFHMASK Jr and VFHMASK Mini?
VFHMASK Mini = VFHMASK Jr. They are the same make, size, and construction. We’re transitioning the naming to VFHMASK Mini currently. VFHMASK Mini is recommended for kids between 2 to 12 years old, as well a adults with small faces.
Why “non-medical”?
Although we have done a full battery of tests and received certifications, we market VFHMASK as “non-medical” and print this on every box. To declare as “medical”, the masks need to be tied around the back of the head. Our product team came up with the adjustable ear loop design that gives most people a customised fit. We hope VFHMASK may be used by everyone rather than serving the medical community alone.
